something to believe in

i believe in rain
pouring on slanted roofs
and puddling in muddy
gutters on the street,

and also in waves
crashing playfully on beaches
and dolphins blowing bubble
rings towards the surface.
​
i believe in tides
and their love for
the moon that glitters
above in the sky,
​
and also in oceans
so deep and blue
that they might contain
everything we’ve ever dreamed.
​
its just that life
is too short to
not believe in anything.
